Abstract

The demand for access to information and applications through mobile technologies is intensifying day-by-day, hence, its usage also increases greatly. Even with latest and fastest devices being fashioned, battery power remains a bottle-neck still. This is one of the main issues being explored by researchers of Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs). The scarcity of battery in one node may affect the entire network. The design of the energy based routing protocol is very vital and sensible task of routing the data packets from the source to destination. This paper aims to propose a technique MIRO-MIDURR that Minimizes the Routing Overhead by rationally spotting and evading the Partial Selfish Nodes (PSN) that are found in the network.
