IMPACT OF LEADERSHIP STYLES ON EMPLOYEE MOTIVATION AND PRODUCTIVITY

Abstract
This study examines the impact of different leadership styles on employee motivation and productivity. A comprehensive review of existing literature reveals that transformational leadership styles tend to have the most positive impact on employee motivation and productivity. In contrast, autocratic leadership styles are found to have a negative impact. The study also highlights the importance of employee involvement and flexibility in leadership styles. The findings of this study have significant implications for organizations seeking to improve employee motivation and productivity. By adopting a transformational leadership style, organizations can foster a positive work environment, increase employee engagement, and ultimately drive business success.
