Abstract
The increasing adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is significantly reshaping the field of accounting by introducing smarter and more efficient ways of managing financial operations. Despite these advancements, many organizations still struggle with issues such as manual inefficiencies, frequent errors, and gaps in employee skills, which affect overall productivity and compliance. This study proposes an AI-driven framework that not only automates accounting processes but also evaluates employee performance to identify skill gaps and recommend targeted reskilling solutions. The proposed approach focuses on analyzing work patterns, detecting inefficiencies, and providing personalized learning pathways to enhance employee capabilities. By integrating AI with accounting practices, the system improves critical functions such as financial reporting, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance. At the same time, it contributes to broader organizational goals by increasing workforce efficiency, reducing operational costs, and enabling more informed decision-making. This research highlights the dual role of AI as both a technological and strategic enabler, transforming accountants from routine task performers into contributors to business insights and growth. The findings suggest that adopting AI-driven reskilling frameworks can lead to more accurate financial processes and support long-term organizational development.
